Arendelle in Paris: March 29 Fixed for World of Frozen Debut

The gates to Arendelle officially open at Disneyland Paris on March 29, 2026. We reveal everything you need to know about the new World of Frozen land, including the two new attractions, dining experiences and how to plan your visit to this highly anticipated expansion.

Arendelle in Paris: March 29 Fixed for World of Frozen Debut

Walt Disney Studios Park is officially on its final countdown. In a move that marks the biggest expansion in the resort’s history, Disneyland Paris has confirmed that the park will be rebranded as Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026—the same day the gates swing open to the World of Frozen.

The Kingdom of Arendelle Comes to Europe

While Hong Kong Disneyland has enjoyed its own version of Arendelle since 2023, the Paris incarnation is designed to be the crown jewel of the new Disney Adventure World. Set around a massive new 70,000-square-meter lake (Adventure Bay), the land will feature a recreation of the North Mountain, the Arendelle Castle, and the village itself.

Key attractions confirmed for the launch include:

  • Frozen Ever After: A reimagined version of the popular boat ride, using the latest audio-animatronics technology.
  • Village Shops & Dining: Fully immersive Norwegian-inspired architecture, including a new table-service restaurant overlooking the water.
  • Character Encounters: Permanent meet-and-greet locations for Anna and Elsa within the Royal Summerhouse.

Disney Adventure World: More Than Just a Rebrand

The name change from Walt Disney Studios to Disney Adventure World isn't just cosmetic. It signals a shift away from the 'behind the scenes' studio aesthetic toward fully immersive world-building. Beyond Frozen, construction is already visible on the resort's next major project: the first-ever Lion King themed land, which will eventually sit adjacent to the Frozen area.

Travel Logistics for 2026

For UK travellers, the timing of the March 29th opening is critical. It aligns perfectly with the start of the Easter holiday season, meaning demand for Eurostar seats to Marne-la-Vallée will be at an all-time high. If you are planning a trip to see the new park, we recommend booking your transport as soon as the 330-day window opens in mid-2025.
